PHOTOGRAPHY
George is a member of ASMP and NPPA and
has been shooting stills and moving images for 50 years. While
he has everything from 35mm to 8x10, he currently prefers to
shoot digital. We waited a long time to go digital and will
still shoot film if a client requests, but likes the versatility
of digital.
His work for Gateway, (then
Gateway 2000), was featured in "Industrial Photography"
May 1993.
The size of the Sioux City
prevents specializing, and Lindblade shoots everything from
meat, (IBP's corporate headquarters here before it was purchased
by Tyson), to semi trailers. His 6000 square foot studio is
the largest in the area.
He has shot all over the
world for clients and is available for assignments nationwide.
His work has appeared in scores of national magazines, most
recently his work on the restoration of the
Sioux City Orpheum Theatre
was seen in Northshore Magazine, Iowa Architect and Stage Direction.
His extensive collection
of cleared images have appeared in many TV shows, specials and
feature films. His company can create background posters with
any theme using his cleared images, their design capabilities
and wide format printer and laminator.
Lindblade spent 7 years
in the 60's working for NBC, Los Angeles and living in the Palm
Springs area. He shot for Frank Sinatra, Bob Hope and others.
Currently his "Hollywood: Off screen, On Camera" exhibit
of 75 black & white images of celebrities is at the Waterloo
Center for the Arts in Waterloo, Iowa.
Lindblade also does extensive
legal photography and video. His company shoots strictly Sony
DV and edits with Avid and Final Cut Pro.
